We are planning to host a twitter chat for carers this Thursday 2nd April at 11am. We are hoping that this will provide an opportunity for carers on twitter to share any issues or concerns around accessing support at this point in time. Please do join in the conversation too if you are available on April 2nd. We would also appreciate it if you could help to promote the twitter chat by sharing the following link on your carers centre’s twitter pages this week: https://twitter.com/CarersCoali…/status/1244609105857318921…
Communications with Centre Managers
As you can imagine, we are receiving updates on a daily basis from the Scottish Government and other partners at the moment. We aim to keep you updated through regular email briefings and also uploading any key papers and documents relevant to supporting carers onto the ‘Carers Centre COVID19 Group’ which we have set up on the Knowledge Hub. Further information on how to join this virtual Centre Managers group on Knowledge Hub and access briefings and papers related to COVID19 can be found here.
We have also set up a WhatsApp group for Centre Managers, which many of you have joined already. The WhatsApp group will enable us to share daily briefings with you and make it easier for you to get in touch with Claire and I, as well as provide a space to talk to each other about any issues or concerns you may have around carer support at the moment. If you drop me a message on 07825 314528 I would be happy to add you to the WhatsApp group.
If you are not familiar with WhatsApp and need help downloading it or need further guidance on the Knowledge Hub, please don’t hesitate to contact me and I will be happy to talk you through the process.
