The School Age Payment is £250 for each eligible child.

Whether a child is eligible will depend on her/his date of birth and when the claim is made (as per the below).

Child’s date of birth                                                                     When a claim is to be made 

Between 1 March 2014 and 28 February 2015                   Between 3 June 2019 and 28 February 2020

Between 1 March 2015 and 28 February 2016                   Between 1 June 2020 and 28 February 2021

It is important to note that a claim cannot be made out with these dates.       

Also –

Ø  If a child is born later than February 2016 a claim can be made after May 2021.

Ø  A claim cannot be made for a child born before 1 March 2014.
