We’re delighted to invite members of your organisation to a special event we are hosting with the Bank of England’s Chief Economist, Andy Haldane.

When: Monday 26th March 12.15pm to 15.00pm

Where: The Tudor Hotel, 39 Alexander Street, Airdrie, ML6 0BA

Who: Andy Haldane, Chief Economist at the Bank of England and Brian Sloan, Chief Executive of Age Scotland

The Bank of England want to better understand the impact of their policy decisions on different communities across the UK. They want to hear your views, understand the issues you face and talk about the solutions they have.

This is a unique opportunity to let the Bank of England know about the experiences older people in Scotland have with the banking system on a range of issues like mortgage rates, new bank notes, bank branches and access to services, money management, age-neutral access to financial products and the state of the economy.

This is a free event and lunch will be provided. We can also help with the cost of travel if required.

This event is open to as many people as you want to bring but places might become limited the closer we get to the event, so please RSVP as soon as possible.

RSVP by either calling Simon Ritchie on 0333 323 2400 or emailing policycomms@agescotland.org.uk

Brian Sloan
